Tuesday July 14 is the Leukaemia Foundation’s National MDS Day.

The theme, MDS – New Horizons, sums up the objectives of this special day to:

• provide information on current treatment approaches, and new and future therapies
• improve the physical and psychosocial quality of life of those living with this rare form of blood cancer
• improve treatment outcomes through side-effects management
• increase awareness of the services the Leukaemia Foundation provides to the Australian MDS community
• provide opportunities for people with MDS and their families to interact, form peer support networks and access support.
