I was diagnosed last month just by doing regular blood work. Prior to that, I had been diagnosed with ITP for the past 6 years. Anyway, my platelets are 20 and they have stayed that way since I was diagnosed in June. I need a SCT and they are looking for a match. My brother is a half match but if his immune system turns out to be too close to mine, we can’t use him.

So about this pain…my body feels like I’ve been working out…HARD! My hips hurt,my arms, my glutes. And I feel like I have an elephant on my chest. I’m wondering if between my last appointment and now did something go horribly wrong?! I keep having nightmares that I have hip cancer, back cancer, lung cancer and ass cancer. Lol. I don’t know, this is all new to me.

So here’s my husband’s theory…my truck is in the shop so I rented a smaller car. In comparison it is rather low to the ground and he thinks the pain I’m feeling is because I am essentially doing “squats” every time I get in and out of the car. I would agree especially since I’m overweight, but my elbows hurt too. Sometimes my hands hurt.

I’m freaked out enough…please tell me somebody else knows what I’m talking about ..??

I was diagnosed in 2007 with ITP then in 2012 was diagnosed with MDS. I too deal with a lot of pain. Mine has a lot to do with arthritis. With my immune system low it seems to have gotten aggressive. I dealt with the pain a long time before I went to the orthopedic Dr. about it. They prescribed Tramadol which I use at night so I can get some rest.

Your essential part as a parental figure at a medicinal arrangement is to verify that everything encompassing your cherished one’s sickness is obviously comprehended or reported with the goal that you can inquire about it when you return home. In the event that you don’t comprehend something, request that the doctor clear up. On the off chance that a specialist can’t answer inquiries or concerns to you or your cherished one’s fulfillment, request different assets to discover these answers. You ought not surrender until both you and your adored one are fulfilled by you’re comprehension of the insights concerning your cherished one’s MDS and treatment.
