My 88 yr old mother in California has been receiving Procrit 2x month in dosing amount of 1000 units Procrit. She tolerates it well but is distressed about her continued low Red and white blood cells. I recently attended a Patient Forum in Birmingham, Ala and made a note that one of the physicians referenced a meta-analysis of increased weekly dosing of Procrit resulted in improvement of red and surprisingly white and platelet counts. Does anyone know about this? Thanks
