    Hello,

I’m new to the paitient message boards. I have a question. My 82 yr old dad has had MDS for 3 yrs now and recently received a blood test which revealed his BNP level to be elevated. Its at 321 and normal values should be 100 or less.

Does anyone have experience with this or know more about what could be causing it? Are there treatments available to get it back to normal??

    Thanks so much, Linda
