Hi..I was scheduled to have a cord blood tranplant this Thursday. The doctor just called with bad news. Apparently my blasts are too high and they cannot do it. They want me in there tomorrow to discuss the game plan but cannot tell me anymore over the phone. I am so frightened. They could not tell me the game plans or anything else. I am afraid they cannot do anything for me and this is it for me? I just need any advice anyone can give me right now.

maybe they will have to give you some kind of treatment to bring the blasts down before they can do the transplant

try to think positive, although i know it must be very difficult

    wishing you good health
