My local doctor does not seem very familar with MDS and I was wondering if its ok to email the doctor I saw at OHSU, her email address is on her card, or does this go against some protocol? I got a great packet in the mail from the Aplastic Anemia & MDS Internation Foundation. A lot of good reading to go through. Thanks again for all your help. Josey

Josey, I think it is just fine to email your doctor, especially if they provide an email address on their card. I often email my doctor at Duke and he is very responsive. I have had very good results from doctors at major medical centers/institutions.

I wasn’t sure, her email address is on her card, so I thought it might be ok. Thanks Josey
