Hi everyone!

Well, my mom had her appointment to day with her hematologist…and it went pretty well. It seems that a BMT is out of the picture, at least for now, as her health is pretty good, but it may be an option down the road. Chemo. isn’t an option either. The doctor is happy with her counts right now, what a relief! Also, she is meeting with another specialist in February (was originally supposed to be a meeting with the BMT team ) to discuss putting her on Gleevec.

It was nice to have some happy news before our trip…we leave Sunday for one week of sunshine!
