    Hi,
Can someone please give me the name of an over the counter(in the U,S.) product which stops minor bleeding, nose, gums or small cuts.
I have seen it mentioned previously but can’t find any info now.
    Thank you very much

Hi Ani, The product mentioned most often on this site was Nosebleed QR. This is what we used when needed, it worked very well. Be sure to follow the directions carefully.THere are other new products mentioned on line, but we never tried them. BleedArrest and QikClot. If you have trouble finding Nosebleed Qr.there is a site, where it can be ordered on line, AmericanRX.com price $5.93. I haven’t seen you on the forum lately. I haven’t been on for quite awhile either, I didn’t have use of a computer for a long time.I hope that everything is going well for you and your husband. take care Ellie

    Hi Elle,
Thank you for that information, hoped someone would have it–I always relied on Neil for that type of help, good to know you are carrying on.
Fortunately my husband is very stable(was given 6 months to live in 2002) and has been in a holding pattern ever since, low white cells, platelets around 65,00 and much of his red line is normal including HCT and Hb so we have so much to be thankful for.
Incredibly our best friend in this little village has been diagnosed with MDS and is deteriorating much more rapidly, I needed the info re NosebleedQR for him, and no, there is no work connection or otherwise as we have lived only 17 years in Canada.
    Again, thanks and best wishes
    Ani

    This is interesting.
I often have nose bleeds. One doctor suggested that it’s because my platelets are low
    and that I have sinusitis.
Today I see another Ear, Nose and Throat specialist to find out what to do when I pass large clots.
