I have been struggling with sweats both night and day. I have been px ranitadine by hemo on the advice of a ca nurse specialist. If it helps I will advise of same, as it may be of use to someone else. However, if not it has been tried and tested. Or can anyone advise of anything else???? I work long and hard hours. Most of the time the night sweats are the biggest problem and the broken sleep is dreadful. However, I know someone on this website will have solved this problem. That is why this website/forum is fantastic, without it I think I would have heaps of unanswered questions. Thank you to everyone!

    Hi Bec

Just an update. Ranitadine is working well at keeping the night sweats at bay. It takes a while for it to kick in. I have been on it since the 1st August and finding it of great benefit. Sorry I couldn’t face coming on the forum sooner, my mum passed away suddenly on the 20th August. I hope your dad is well and that he should give the ranitadine a try.

    Good luck
