That’s too bad. I could only imagine there are more cases like yours. We got to have a system for this. I mean, this could not go on for so long.

You should follow his doctor’s instructions as cases vary from person to person.

I have read some articles about the low platelet count. Try to stuff up his diet with mostly Wheatgrass, spinach, and pumpkin. It wouldn’t treat the MDS itself as this is just like support to your main treatment, but helps with the platelet count.

Yoga and mediation really help. Also, a cup of tea to energize and warm up the body. Thinking of an affirmation or a verse that you like could also help.

    Hi,

I’m sorry to hear about your dad. There’s not that much that I could say. It must be hard to see him in pain, but following the doctor’s instructions would be good. Have you asked for a second opinion? There are times when other doctors have a different approach to pain management. Hope he gets the treatment he needs.

I hope everyone undergoing chemo will finally be treated so that you wont be exhausted. Meditation would be helpful in some ways.

Going through chemotherapy can be extremely exhausted. Just take good care of yourself, get plenty of rest and maintain good nutrition. Be positive always. Just do your best and God will do the rest!
