    hi susi

    before my dad started to need txs he was having his blood tested every 3 months

    once the txs started and the treatments started he had blood taken every week

    my heart is aching

    i can’t believe that we are going to lose the one person who really held this foum together – the one person who you could really count on for accurate advice – the one person people always asked for when they had questions no one else could or was willing to answer

    my dad was treated by dr silverman at mt sinai
    he was in the original clinical trial for vidaza

    dr silverman really knows his stuff

    hi carruth

    looking back at some old info sheets for my dad here is what i found as normal ranges

    mono% 2.0-14.0
    lymph% 13.0-44.0
    neut% 43.0-77.0

    then there are

    neut# 1.8-7.4
    lymph# 1.0-3.3
    mono# 0.0-0.9

    i hope this helps
