We lost the fight

  Dear Friends, George is gone. Yesterday he had a really good day, giving us a ray of hope. This morning 5 he went into coma, and this afternoon he past away.I am greatfull,that he didn,t suffer.I just don,t know how to deel with that horroble pain I have. Thank you all for your support, Kate

  Oh My God Kate, I am so sorry! I wish there were some words I could pass along to ease the pain but I know your heart must be breaking right now. Find strength and comfort with your family, remember all the good times and know that George is at peace in God’s care. Extra prayers will go out to you and your family.

  Kate, I am so glad for that “good” last day and no pain. My thoughts are with you. There is a wonderful group on this forum that have lost spouses. Maybe they can help you with this stage of being a caretaker of someone with this disease.

  Dear Kate, at almost 8 months since Walden’s passing, I can still identify with the pain you are feeling. It does seem to ease with time but life will never be the same.
