In Loving Memory of Nick Pekar

Our family recently faced a heartbreaking and unexpected journey. In just a few short weeks, our beloved father, Nick Pekar, was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) and passed away. The speed and severity of his illness left us with little time to process or prepare — and yet, in those brief days, we witnessed incredible strength, grace, and love.

Though AML only touched Nick’s life for a short time, its impact on our family will be felt for years to come. It has left an absence that words cannot fully capture, and a reminder of how quickly life can change. But more than anything, it has deepened our appreciation for the time we had with him — for his joyful spirit, his sincere interest in people, and the way he always went the extra mile to make others feel special.

His memory will live on in the stories we share, the values he instilled, and the deep bond we will always carry with him.

We are grateful for the support of those who walk beside us during this time, and we will always remember the strength, love, and generosity that defined his life.
