I am a 4 year identified del5q patient. On bi-weekly Aranesp shots. Bad reaction to Revlemid. Hgb slowly lowering to 7.9. New BMB showed no del5q change, nor new blasts, but did indicate the presence of a new variant, “+8”. Has anyone seen this? Dr. has sent to “myeloid malignancies mutation panel by next generation sequencing at ARUP laboratory”. Any thoughts?
