I was at a Shine event today and they said any drug that is administered by a needle at the Doctors office or hospital is covered by Medicare Part B. Not to confuse that with drug coverage part D. I may need Epogen in the future and want to be prepared with my drug coverage. I know a lot have said they are on or have been on Epogen. Thanks for any info you can give

I can’t speak specifically to Epogen but I occasionally get Neupogen injections at my hematologist’s office and they are always covered by Part B. I believe the advice you got regarding injections at the doctor’s office to be accurate.

    Best wishes

Thankyou Michael. This will make a big difference in what company I go with for part D.
