The MDS Foundation is partnering with Takeda to conduct observational research in patients with high risk MDS, CMML, and low-blast AML. The overall objective of this research is to better understand the patient perspective of symptom experience and impact on health-related quality of life among patients with MDS and AML. This study has received independent IRB approval and would involve a telephone interview with high-risk MDS, CMML, and low-blast AML patients with a Modus Outcomes researcher trained in scientific qualitative research. The telephone interview will last approximately one hour and patients will receive monetary compensation for their participation.
