I have been on this forum for the better part of this year and check it about 6 times a day. It has helped me grieve at times and picked me up at others. I have watched people’s stories unfold. Some inspirational, some just so tragic. This disease has no rhyme or reason. You think something is working and it just stops or your counts act like a roller coaster.

I think the below lyrics sum up what all of us need for the holidays.

Better Days – Goo Goo Dolls

And you ask me what I want this year
And I try to make this kind and clear
Just a chance that maybe we’ll find better days

Cuz I don’t need boxes wrapped in strings
And desire and love and empty things
Just a chance that maybe we’ll find better days

I wish all my forum friends health, and happy holidays. Wishing you all the best in the New Year. We just need better days like it says……

thank you and Merry Christmas to all of you!!
    God bless all of us!!!

YEAH! Goo Goo dolls! Gotta love a Buffalo band.

Thank you for your wishes. I hope you have a good Christmas. I know it will be tough for a lot of us without our loved ones this year. I hope you’ll be surrounded by family.

I’ll be in Buffalo Friday night through Monday morning.

Best Wishes, Happy Holidays & Happy New Year to you Butch!

    Hi Butch,
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you.
Was born and raised in Buffalo. Still get back periodically to visit my wife’s family.
Have memories of going to Grand Island to watch the boat races and had our weddig reception at the Yacht Club.

Butch, Happy New Year to you, better days will come.
    Ellie & Glen

    Happy New Year Butch.

I hope that you are alright this New Year’s Eve.

Hopefully, 2006 will bring Better Days to all of us.

    Dear Butch,
My best wishes to you for a happy and peaceful 2006. You have been through a rough time, and I guess all of us have in a way. Tonight we’re only 15 minutes from the New Year. I feel a bit down, unusual for me. I want my family back, and I can’t have them. This Forum isn’t my family, but in a very real sense I feel a close empathy with each of you.
I wish us all a Happy New Year. Happy New Year special to you, Butch!
    ~~~ Janet
