Hello everyone. Unfortunately Karen did not make it and passed away early Monday morning due to her CMV lung infection. Ironically the doctors had managed to get the viral load in her blood under control and the transplant was working well, there was just too much lung damage.

I would like to thank each and everyone of you for praying for her and I’m pleased to say she passed without any real suffering.

I will come back from the boards from time to time, and always remember you in my prayers.

I know the heartache you are experiencing, and so do many of the members on this forum, I will pray for your families as well as yourself, and I have to add that I hope YOU can, to some degree, find some peace knowing that your partner will no longer be living day to day with such uncertainty as this illness brings
