    Hi,
because I am new in the forum I would like to introduce myself briefly.

I am 76 years old and live in Germany.
I was on Watch and Wait from 2001 to end of 2019 with MDS RCMD.
In December 2019 I was diagnosted transition from MDS Typ D46.2G\RAEB II to C92.00G\AML.
From January 2020 on I am on Vidaza and had my 5#th cycle in May.

I would like to share my experiences and I am very interested in the exchange with similar affected people.
I am looking forward to an interesting dialogue.

Wow, my learning curve began last year in November. I couldn’t even say myelodysplastic syndrome for a few days. My watch and wait was six weeks. I’ve had 3 cycles of vidaza, I needed a blood transfusion on the second and third cycle. At 4 cycles I get BMB. I hope I’m in remission. God is good. I know a lot about him, if you want to learn.

I would like to report today on my blood values after the 6th Vidaza cycle.
My blood counts were as follows:

    WBC 3.3
    RBC 3.51
    HGB 11.7
    PLT 100
    LYM% 41.3
    NEUT# 1600
    RDW-SD 58.1

I would be very pleased if someone would report about his AML treatment with Vidaza.
