Dear Jody, So very nice of you to send us the note. I barely have time to get to the computer. George will get 2 unit of blood tomorrow, Monday his hmb was 8.2, wasn’t that bad after 3 weeks. The plt is very low, 8, the wbc slowly increasing. 18 thousand. George has been in a lot of pain , because of his back. Today he got a new pain medication , a patch. Seem to be helping a lot. He feels much better. The worst part is to get out of bed in the morning. We will see tomorrow morning. I plan to call Moffitt canser center and see if they willing to look into, if anything else could be down to fight his illnes. Our son will be getting married on May 28th.We are hoping so much , that he will be able to be there.Thank you again for caring Kate

    Hi Kate,

Good luck tomorrow…hopefully the 2 units will give George a boost. smile

Thank goodness the patch is helping with the back pain. Were they able to figure out what’s going on with his back? I hope the pain passes and that it is only temporary.

If you get a chance, let us know how he makes out tomorrow. Hope all goes well.

    Take care, Jody

ps. Congratulations on your son’s upcoming marriage!!
