Acceleron Pharma is looking for adult (18 years or older) patients & caregivers affected by Very-low, Low, or Intermediate Risk MDS who receive transfusions to participate in an upcoming advisory board meeting. The meeting will take place on May 18th in Washington DC. The purpose of the meeting is to gain direct patient & caregiver insight into the following areas:
• Care and access to care of MDS
• Preferences on MDS education, news, and resources
• Feedback on a potential treatment for MDS
The advisory board will last approximately 3 hours and will require a pre-meeting survey (the survey will take approximately 30 minutes to complete). Travel, accommodations, and meals will be provided (including certain incremental travel fees, such as taxis/ubers) and participants will be compensated for their participation.
