My dad was just diagnosed with MDS this year. He is a Vietnam Vet. He is applying for benefits through VA. They want him to get a BMT. Wondering what information would be most helpful for his case?

I am reading about more and more Vets being diagnosed with MDS. I lost my hero 6 weeks ago, my dad a world war 11 Marine. He was exposed to the Nagasaki bomb. I wish you the best.
