Maureen – Words just are not enough. But I know where you are and how you feel. It is so hard to lose a DAD. It has been almost 6 months for me and I have good days and bad. This disease is so horrible. I am so sorry for your pain and loss.

Patti – Your post was not disjointed at all. But beautiful. I hope as well that tomorrow it will be for your MIL. She is such a strong woman to hold on so long.

My mom had to tell my granny in Oct that it was ok to go and when she did that, granny took one more breath and then no more. It is hard for them to let go too.

I know how hard this is as we have been through it twice now in the last 5 months.

Please let me know if I can do anything. I am only 10 minutes away.

My dad was similiar to your mom. Was at the Hutch in Nov 06 for and SCT, his bro was a perfect match to then we found out he went to AML. He only made it 3 more months. I am so sorry you are going through this too. It is so hard. He was not able to do chemo because he would not make it thru but they did try zarnestra, it was working but he got an infection and did not make it.

I will pray for you. Take it one day at a time. That is all you can do.

Jack good to hear you are still laughing! My dad is on this stuff too and while they think it is working, not sure if we have enough time left for it to make a difference. He has had a rough time and is really weak. I keeping hoping…

I hope more people try Zarnestra. Keep hanging in!
