I am an 82 year old male with mild diabetes9 (A1c is 105),overweight, but in otherwise pretty good health. I was diagnosed with MDS last December. I have had many CBC tests since, but there is only slight differences in the last 5 or years. My oncologist seemed very eager to start me on chemotherapy. However, I have none of the symptoms of MDS, except for getting tired very easily when doing anything of a physical nature, such as yardwork. I blame a lot of that on being 82 and overweight. I am taking a lot of supplements and have just finished a 6 treatment course of UBI, which is ultra violet blood irradiation. I will have another CBC report on October 18th. After that, I am scheduled to start using PEMF (Pulsed Electro Magnetic Field) 8 minute sessions, twice a day. I know many will scoff at these treatments, but they have probably had much better results than chemotherapy ever will. Plus no severe side effects and a heck of a lot cheaper. Oncologists look down on such "quackery", because they don't make any money on such treatments. They make a ton on chemotherapy.
