Hi there. I have low risk MDS and my oncologist recommended that I get the vaccine. I have had two Maderna shots. I had a little fatigue one day after my 2nd shot and that was it. Who knows if the fatigue was even due to the shot or just coincidental. Some protection is better than no protection. The vaccine could keep you out of the hospital should you somehow come in contact with the latest Delta variant.

Thank you so much for your help. I plan to see a rheumatologist as well. Maybe if my hematologist and rheumatologist put their heads together can find a drug that can help me.

I have heard in one of the webinars I listened to from one of the top hematologists in California that there was a study done on MDS and autoimmune diseases and what they determined was that there was a correlation between arthritis and MDS but they are not sure if the MDS came before the arthritis or the arthritis came before the MDS.
