Very encouraging that your hemoglobin raised so much gives hope to all of us. I have not been treated I am on wash and wait after one year of diagnosis of MDS. Is swelling in anticipated side effect?
May I ask if your energy levels have increased due to improved hemoglobin levels.

Sorry to hear that you’re feeling fatigued still I’m still on watch and wait but I’m curious about Reactions. What I’ve read today is that different blood counts and hemoglobin counts affect people very differently. do you know if your blood count will go up after a while

I was diagnosed with low risk of the US in June my red blood cell count is low my hemoglobin is 10. White and platelets were normal. If my hemoglobin jobs pulled all night and the doctor will treat me with a aranesp at to increase red blood cell production. I doctor from Memorial Sloane Kettering is not treating me until I need treatment we are on watch and wait.

Since I joined the message board I find it helpful to hear it was going on with others. I am a bit surprised to find people asking what treatments they may try. I am on watch and wait I have a doctor at Sloan Kettering and I trust that he will guide me along the way. Do others not feel that way or am I being naïve

Rod, I would love to know who your oncologist is but I understand your reluctance to mention his name is he affiliated with a center of excellence or a large MDS hospital?
