Lucena NicolasParticipant
I was taking redvimid from March to September 2022. My red blood count was stable at 10.5. No major side affects, so I thought. In September I was told to stop taking it because my liver was being damaged. I cried a river because I know that I will need blood transfusion again and again. On Monday November 28 I will have a second biopsy to determine if am a candidate for a bmt
Lucena NicolasParticipantI actually have taken revlimed from March 2022 until Sept. 2022. I experienced having mouth sores then and now. Redlimed help my red blood count. It was steady at 10 up from a 6. I find that as long as my blood count was up then my energy was also up. But I had to stop taking Revlimed because my liver was being negatively affected
Lucena NicolasParticipantI too have had swelling joints like hip, knees, fingers, and shoulders. Along with legs, ankles, legs, and arms. Sometimes it last for a day or two. Other times a few weeks. Pain level is between 4 to 10
Lucena NicolasParticipantCongratulations and it gives me hope. I too have taken the med you mentioned also know as Revlimed. I was diagnosed Feb 7,2022 started taking Revlimed in March and was doing so well until August. My doctor said that my liver was being severely negatively affected and I must stop taking this medicine. Now I am having to have blood transfusion 2 times a month. Hospitalize 2x for infection. I am having a second biopsy this Monday to see if I need a BMT
