George had a lot of problem with that pressure in the bowels. It was a really anoying discomfort and some pain also. Finally we asked the doctor, wether it could be from gases. He said, yes, some of this medicine causing a lot of gas. He said take some gas relief pills(anything with simethicone in it). That was the end of this problem.Of cause , you have to make sure, that the doctor checks your Father problem. It could be something else.I hope the trisenox will help him. Just like Barbara, I read the posts often, but I feel too sad and emotional to write. Our son’s wedding was beautiful, last Saturday. They gone off to their honeymoon for a week.I was very strong and happy for them, everybody had a great time.How painfull it was for me that George couldn’t be there on this beautiful day, nobody knows. When George was on Vidaza, the plt always went low by the end of the round. But about 8-10 days later they went back up. George wbc was always a little higher than normal, but went really high only when he had an infection. Your father may still have an infection. I hope he is getting better, and the Vidaza treatment will work for him. Best wishes,Kate
