We are proud to announce that the second annual tournament will be held August 5, 2016 at the Fairview Golf Course in Lebanon, PA. Our goal is to register at least one hundred forty-four golfers – we met this goal last year and with the high interest in the event, we are confident it will be filled again.
The Tom “Shu” Shuey Memorial Golf Tournament was formed as a positive way to honor our great friend and father who was an avid golfer. In 2014, Tom passed away due to complications from Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS).
Once again the proceeds of this tournament will be used to make donations to the MDS Foundation and other local sports organizations. With the great support of our participants last year we were able to make donations to the following organizations:
MDS Foundation: $5,500.00
Annville Football Booster Club: $1,000.00
Annville Youth League: $2,000.00
Palmyra Lady Cougar Basketball Booster Club: $500.00
