Oops, pressed submit in error. I itch over most of my body and have done so for several months. I thought perhaps it would stop with the cessation of antidepressants but it is actually getting worse, spreading from my head, neck, back and chest to my arms and the front of my legs. I have no rash, no redness except when I scratch. I can ignore it during the day when I am busy but in the evenings when I warm up and am relaxed it is at its worst. Nothing much helps. I have tried various creams to no avail. An antihistamine pill helps a little, as do drops for my itching eyes. I’ve come to the conclusion the antidepressants are not the cause – it must be the MDS. Any suggestions?

Hi Jean, I would make an appointment at one of our Centers of Excellence in MDS. You should be very carefully assessed before undergoing any treatment. Benefits versus risk analysis should be done with any treatment. Following is a link to our Centers of Excellence worldwide https://www.mds-foundation.org/mds-centeres-of-excellence/. I hope this information helps.
