any advice for travel

Hi all, well our trip is booked! My husband is taking time off to look after our two girls and I’m off to Cayo Coco with my mom! We leave in 3 weeks…any advice for my mom. Her platelets are pretty good (98,000),we have insurance…I’m a little nervous about her travelling…but excited too. I’m a little sad about not taking the girls…I know they really want to come, next year we’ll all go away.

If her white blood count is low she may want to wear one of the heavier masks in an airplane. Suzanne

Jody, Glad you’re able to get away. My mom never stopped travelling. She just made sure she knew if where the nearest hospital was. She would sometimes get bloody noses that wouldn’t stop bleeding.
