  have refractory anemia with excess blast. been on vadaza all my numbers are coming up is this just temperary

  Dear Carl, Thank you for your post. How many cycles of Vidaza have you had? Typically, you may not see any improvement in your health until you have taken azacitidine for at least 4 to 6 cycles (about 4 to 6 months). And as is the case with the many other drugs, you may feel even worse before you feel better. So it’s important to stick with your treatment to give the medicine a chance to work.

  going on my 4th month of vadaza 3 shots a day for 7 days and Procrit 1 shot per week. my numbers have been going up.I don’t know what to expect next.
