    My mom has been taking Aranesp injections every two weeks for about 2 months now. Her hemoglobin was 11.1 today and her doctor held todays shot. For those taking Aranesp shots, do you know if there are HGB ranges for when the injections should be stopped and restarted? thank you

    Hi, It is a complicated and confusing disease. 11.1 is good! The doctors usually only order Aranesp when one’s numbers are under 10… when it goes low again they will start the shots again. After 2 months I have just gotten back to 10. Hoping it will stay and I get a reprieve!
