Hubby just had a transplant and our daughter was his donor. He is now in the hospital with fever, vomiting and diarrhea and feeling in general like crap. He is 72 and was in remission before the transplant. A nurse said this is normal because of the kind of transplant he had?? I asked what did that mean? She said this Hap match transplant is rougher than others. It was never explained to us that this was riskier or more dangerous than another type.. I am very upset and I assumed this was a cure for him and he would live a long life. Now I am concerned he is going to spend the rest of his time in a hospital bed!! Help me..
