I have a question for someone out there regarding my wife and her latest situation. She was dx’d with MDS/AML in August 2004, had chemo and a successful SCT in November 2004. She has been doing great since then. She went for her annual mammogram and received a call back to repeat it. After they repeated it, they did an ultrasound and dicovered what they termed a “mass” as opposed to a “cyst” which they want to biopsy. There is no history of breast cancer in her family, but she did have 2 rounds of chemo before she had her SCT. Anyone know if this is typical or just more bad luck? Thanks for the help.
