  Hi Barb,

  I saw in another thread that your granddaughter is in the hospital? I’m sorry to hear that, I hope it’s nothing serious. Sending some healing thoughts and I’m hoping she’s feeling better soon.

  When my mom was first diagnosed, she went to the hematology clinic at the hospital where my grandmother had passed away. All of those horrible memories come rushing back…

  Thank you, Jody. Kelly has had such a severe sinus infection for almost a week, that she finally had to be hospitalized. The doctor in the ER said it was getting close to her brain. She is doing better and hopefully will go home tonight after her antibiotic IV. She is 12 years old. All she can think about is that she has missed horseback riding for two weeks.
