    Terri,

I was planning to do the Light the Night Walk in Toronto, Ontario this October. I broke my heel a few months ago and probably won’t be able to go. It is healing but not as quickly as I wish it would. If I cannot attend our Walk, I will be happy to sponsor you and you can walk for both of us. I will try again next year.

    Thank You.

Thanks Caroline and so sorry to hear about your heel, Hope you are doing better. Last year I had my daughter, grandson and son in law with me to walk but Daughter is due to deliver twins any time now so They will be missing it this year but I still plan on walking.I also send emails out so that People are aware of MDS – not many have heard of it.

Anyone else participating in their Local walks, I know someone on the forum last year did and they had a very good response on their individual fund raising.

Hi Terri! I have fielded a Light the Night team called Always Friends for 6 years now. Last year we had 39 walkers and we raised $8000 with a special cookbook project. Over the 6 years, we have raised a bit over $17,000 through many generous sponsors. My website is http://www.active.com/donate/ltnCincin/1953_LAlwaysLTN Our walk is Sept. 28 in Dayton Ohio. Good luck on your fundraising and prayers for good weather the night of your walk.
