Dad has been waiting for Revlimid for almost 2 months. While waiting and being off Vidaza his WBC climbed to 68 in a short time. His doctor put him on Hydrea to stop the WBC from climbing any higher. This did slow things down and his WBC was at 22. The Revlimid came in and Dad started taking it last Thursday. By Monday his WBC was 38, today it is 53. The doctor said to wait until Friday and hopefully the Revlimid will kick in. If his WBC is any higher by Friday they are going to start the Hydrea with the Revlimid. I know Dad is discouraged and concerned with what is going on (as we all are). Any advise is appreciated.
Thanks,
Shari
