    1 April 2017 — I was taken off methotrexate a couple of years ago because it wasn’t clear if it was behind a drop in red blood cells (I also have smoldering m. myeloma and rheumatoid issues). Has it been proved that methotrexate (or other auto-immune suppressants) cause MDS? If so, why do dermatologists still use it? What auto-immune suppressants (or arthritis) are SAFE to use with MDS? Right now, I’m using Remicade (infusions).
