I have now completed 18 Cycles on by Vidaza. I expect to be on the regular cycles for the rest of my life. I began to experience best results for white cells and platelets immediately following the cycle. That made it possible for me to undergo back surgery. So far so good. I have had two infusions of platelets to help with the healing process and expect to have another one or two. During my off weeks I receive injections of zarxio in order to boost my white cell count. I think that is very important. Actually, some of my very best days are during the seven days that I am receiving ViVidaza. The reason is that 4 out of the 7 days I also receive Decadron which is a steroid.
