Pain medication

I have need of a total knee replacement but because of my low platelet count it has been postponed.all I am allowed to take is Tylenol for the pain. I have pain as well in my lower back as well. I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis. Because I have MDS low risk there doesn’t seem to be any thing else for pain except opioids. Does anyone else know of something you can take for pain that works and doesn’t affect your platelets.
