    I have been on a "wait and see" approach for the past 20 years.

    In January I celebrated my 50th birthday and 20 years past diagnosis.
    I thought wait and see would be a few months. It amazes me sometimes that 20 years have passed. I take one day at a time and just try and deal with this disease as it comes. I have never been a very patient person but I have learned how to be. One of these days they will have easier treatments and cures. I wonder how old I will be then.
