We all know when you eat a lot especially of some foods you get tired and take a nap. well multiply that by 10 times I have MDS -low risk diagnosed June 2021 been on aranespdue to hemoglobin which is maintained at 8.5 I’m guess I’m lucky it stays there however, whenever I eat, I fall asleep almost immediately and I’m out cold for at least an hour almost like I passed out rather than went to sleep. Any experiences similar to this?

Hi Joe, My husband was just diagnosed with MDS. He is considered low risk at this point. Like you, he is very fatigued, and is extremely tired after eating a meal. His breathing gets labored upon minimal exertion. Are you on a special diet? Do you notice what foods cause your sudden fatigue? Have you worked with a nutritionist yet? Sorry you are going through this.
