Has anyone used Efudex 5 (generic name Fluorouracil) topical chemotherapy to treat actinic keratosis or basal cell cancer of the skin after being diagnosed with MDS? I’m wondering if there are reasons to not use topical chemo with MDS. My dermatologist said not to worry about it, but I’m not sure how informed he is about MDS. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks.
