    There are 2 articles in todays Wall Street Journal on ESAs. One on the front page, the other on D7.
    The FDA may decide to issue further restrictions on the use of ESAs on cancer patients receiving chemo. The decision is due to come out 3/13.
    There was no mention of how any restriction would impact those of us who are getting it off label.

    Surprise!! Scientests/advisors for The FDA voted 13-1 to keep Procrit and Aranesp on the market.

    I wonder if the FDA scientists must disclose their investments in the pharmaceutical industry? People often feel more confortable in making personal investments in companies operating in industries related to their own skills and expertise. So it wouldnt be unusual for FDA scientists to make investments in Amgen (Aranesp) and Johnson & Johnson (Procrit). These product are big money makers for Amgen and J&J.
