Stephanie, The most famous person with MDS was Carl Sagan the astronomer. There was also a congressman from California I believe that died last year from the illness but I don’t know his name. If I find it I will let you know. Linda

The congressman was Robert Matsui (D-California). Shirley Temple Black’s husband also died of MDS in August 2005.

I heard that Eleanor Roosevelt also dies from complications of MDS …
