The MDS Foundation is looking for patients to participate in several upcoming projects and events. If you are interested in participating and meet one of the criteria below, please reach out to Janice Butchko our Senior Project Manager for the Patient Community at jbutchko@mds-foundation.org.
– Criteria for Project 1: Patient with low to intermediate risk MDS who has been treated with Imetelstat and/or is transfusion dependent. Participation may include writing a summary of your experience or participating on a brief call with a 3-5 minute speaking part.
– Criteria for Project 2 MDS Portion: Looking for a patient with MDS whose first treatment for the disease was Reblozyl (luspatercept). Participants will need to be able to travel; all travel expenses will be covered.
– Criteria for Project 2 AML Portion: Looking for a patient with AML, preferably treated with ONUREG but not a requirement. Participants will need to be able to travel; all travel expenses will be covered.
-Criteria for Project 3: Participants needed who have been diagnosed with MDS and were treated and/or are currently being treated with Reblozyl (luspatercept) as a first line therapy. Reimbursement will be provided via Amazon card to those who volunteer their time.
– Criteria for Project 4: We are looking for 15 patients diagnosed with MDS and 15 patients with CCUS. Labs will be needed. Financial reimbursement will be provided to participants.
