I have MDS RCMD with 47 XY with the tri+8 and 20q chromosomes damaged. I was on Vidaza treatments in 2015 for 5 days on 23 days off. The treatments continued for 6 months. In June I had a bone marrow biopsy that showed no 20q and low levels of tri+8 so my doctor switched to maintenance chemo every 2-3 weeks. My counts started to drop again so I had another Bone Marrow Biopsy in November and found both the 20q and tri+8 had progressed. My Doctor thinks the June biopsy results were bad and put me back on 5 days of Vidaza with 23 days off again. My question is this time around the Vidaza is really knocking me down. I have lower stomach pains, nausea, and very weak with little motivation. So much so I sometimes feel dissy walking up stairs. In addition I am urinating all the time. Does any one else notice these types of systems on the Vidaza? I asked my doctors support teams and they could not provide a definitive answer.
