The Doctor gives him the Zofran 3 minutes before the shot of Vidaza. Then he takes Marinol 2.5 mg, at home about 1 hr later – (This is as needed, but only two per day )

    Hi Sandy,

I don’t know much about Vidaza but with the nausea he might want to avoid fatty foods as that would aggravate it. Try ginger tea also. Although I’ve never used the ginger tea it is supposed to be good for nausea associated with just about anything. It’s very commonly used when women have morning sickness. I do have friends who have used it for various reasons (flu, pregnancy, etc) and it seemed to help them. If you can’t find an actual tea you can make your own using ginger – the only problem is I’m not sure how! How helpful is that? If you want to try it and can’t find tea, let me know. I’ll get a recipe from one of my friends for you.
