My dad is currently undergoing As2O3 treatment. The cycle is of 5 days with 2 days break in between and then another 5 days with 20 days break.this continues for 6 months is what the doc says.

On day 1, his hb count was 7.4, platelets 15000. On day 2, his hb count came down to 6.3 and platelets 10000. Docs gave him 2 packed cells tranfusion. we are still to know his current counts.
On day 3 .i.e. today he is having mild fever.

Please can you share your experiences with As2O3.

Hi,
My Mom was on an arsenic and Ara-C protocol. she achieved a remission, and she was in remission for 6 months. Side effects were minimal–numbness in her feet.
